six months i have had chunky sour tasting discharge. i've tested negative for all stds, yeast infection, bacterial infection. how can i fix this?

Sour tasting?: Vaginal discharge requires an examination to determine the cause and treatment. Bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause and often has a vaginal odor. Vaginal itching can be a sign of a yeast infection. Sometimes vaginal discharge can be a sign of a sexual transmitted infection. Testing is important to determine the treatment and keep you and your partner safe.

Not able to diagnose: Taste is not a good way to determine if it is trichomoniasis.
White thick and odorless is usually yeast/candida, grey/green with a fishy odor is usually bacteria vaginosis, and green/yellow and itch with a possible fishy odor is usually trichomoniasis. Going to your doctor for evaluation and testing is the best way to find your answer. Take care.

?Discharge: Assuming you mean a vaginal discharge? I would not recommend tasting it.  Get your foul smelling discharge evaluated to assure it is not infectious. Good luck.

Discharge: Could be bacterial vaginosis. You need a culture and treatment. This is a common condition and easily treated if that's what it is

Could be  infection: Could be a bladder infection. Have it checked. Usually very easy to treat with a short course of antibiotic. It could also be a kidney infection. But have it checked out.

"Sour vagina taste" : The odor from some yeast (fungal) infections may be "sour" like the smell of commercial yeast used for making bread.  There are many kinds of "yeast" which cause vaginitis, some of which do have the described odor. Try a commercial "over the counter" anti yeast medication, and if no relief, see your gyn physician for a culture and other remedies.

Stop : Stop eating garlic.  Seriously.  We often emit the oils of particularly pungent foods and spices such as garlic, onion, curry powder, etc. Through our sweat and other areas.  If you are noticing any foul odors or increased discharge, it could also be a sign of an infection and you should call your doctor to be checked.

Acclimatization: is more likely, not damage.  When people from countries where spices are heavily used move to countries where they are not, they often experience shock when they visit home and are exposed again to spices.  Your taste buds "turn over" all the time.  So not to worry if one layer is damaged anyway.

No telling: It can be any type of infection. Unfortunately, it is hard to differentiate by smell as your smell perception is subjective.
