: No risk of brain damage. The main serious side effect of acetaminophen (Tylenol and other brands) is liver toxicity in event of overdose, but probably you're nowhere near the dose that would be risky for your liver.

my 7 month old baby boy has a sore throat, cough, runny nose, he's grumpy, finds it hard to keep bottles down, any suggestions?

Infancy Colds -: Fill all your bottles with 2 oz of pedialyte-equivalent. 
Offer one every half hour and allow the baby to refuse.

Run a humidifier or vaporizer to add moisture to the air.

Cancel any other plans and snuggle with good hand washing reminders for all care-givers.

Rest

It's no fun to have an infant with what sounds like a viral infection, but ... they usually pass quickly with supportive measures

It depends: This happens usually due to environmental allergy to pollen, dust or cold. Please try to find that and you can avoid them once you know.

: Sounds like reflux esophagitis plus (unrelated) pharyngitis - most likely viral. Very unlikely one caused the other

Possibly the flu: Causing all these symptoms with laryngitis causing the hoarseness, so rest your voice and your body, increase fluids and warm liquids, painkillers, and it will run its course, if no improvement or getting worse see your doctor, best wishes

Hard to say: You could have strep, tonsillitis, mono, sinus drainage, virus causing your glands, jaw to swell and hurt. I would see a doctor if the symptoms are severe and not improving. Good luck

URI recovery: Viral upper respiratory tract infection (URI) is usually self limited but symptoms may linger  awhile until full resolution. OTC de-congestion and cough medicine are appropriate for symptomatic relief and prescription antibiotics are usually not required. I suggest expectorant cough medicine and plenty hydration in daytime and suppressants at night time for better sleep.

Not COPD: There are a number of things that can cause the symptoms you describe.  This winter here in the Midwest has been cold and dry, and those environmental factors can aggravate your upper airway.

At your age, you don't have COPD.  My guess is you've had a tough winter season.  Any other concerns, see your physician.

Possible flu: Please get tested with a nasal swab for influenza.  You have to take Tamiflu within 48 hours of onset  for it to be effective.
