No healthy benefit: A little bit of soda here and there probably won't do you much harm, but the problem with most of us here in america is that we over-do it too often. Supersizes! does anyone really need a 32-oz gulper? But, i see people bring this to the doctor's office--seen 2 today! just look at how many cubes of sugar in a 32 oz cup--u now know why it is unhealthy. Live sensibly. Live long. Good luck.

Extra calories.: In our diets we have those unnecessary calories that just add extra weight to our bodies for no good reason.  Soda is a perfect example of this.  500 calories of soda every day would add one pound of body weight to you every week - over 50 pounds in a year of extra weight - just from soda.  Unnecessary.  Drink water.
