Not necessarily: Ultrasound would be a more accurate test to evaluate the contents of an ovarian cyst.  Ovarian cysts are common findings.  You should see your gynecologist.

Can be: Ovarian growths can range from about grape size to more than a large watermelon. Most ovarian growths are fluid filled, related to the menstrual cycle and resolve spontaneously. Occasionally a growth may be solid or a mixture of fluid and solid- some of which need to be removed. Hope yours was ok.

: This is a benign tumor that  rarely morphs into the cancerous form of cystadenosarcoma. However, it can grow to a large enough size to twist (torsion) and cut off its' blood supply producing acute emergent pain and need for surgery..
