i have little white yellowish smelly things that come from pockets in back of my throat.what is this caused from?

Tonsilloliths.: The surface of the tonsils in the throat have indentations called crypts.  It is not uncommon for food particles to be caught in these crypts.  They appear as yellow, white smelly things just as you have described.  Although you may not like my recommendation, I have  operated on a number of patients (tonsillectomy) and have cured all of them.  Otherwise live with it.

Chronic Tonsillitis: Probably has Chronic Tonsillitis or an Acute Strep throat. A course of antibiotics and salt water gargles, initially, would be the approach. I think.

Tonsil stones: These are called tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones.  They are not really stones, but are collections of dead cells, mucous, and calcium.  They are not dangerous, but can cause discomfort and bad breath.  Wikepedia has a pretty good entry on this: http://en.Wikipedia.Org/wiki/tonsillolith.  You can remove them yourself or have them washed out, or you can have laser surgery to keep them from returning.

Tonsil cheese : Extremely common and nothing to worry about. The tonsils have cavities, caves and crypts in which old food, shed cells and bacteria can form. Occasionally chunks of the stuff will be expressed from the tonsil and come out just as you're experiencing. Sometimes mouth rinses with antiseptic help, sometimes anabiotic's can help and rarely tonsillectomy is indicated.

Dr. can check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). The same doctor can usually discuss the pee issue and test the urine.

Related to tonsils: The dark thing from throat that has a bad odor may be a tonsilith or tonsil stone. This is seen when there is chronic infection or inflammation(irritation) in your tonsils.   See an ENT doctor.

Tonsils: If your tonsils have not been removed a common malodorous complaint are tonsilar concretions.  They are small, foul-smelling accumulations of food and bacteria sometimes coughed up into the mouth.  Ask your dentist.

Food?: The tonsils have crypts (caves) in them. When you swallow, food is pushed back and then to the sides of your throat. This causes food to be pushed into those crypts where it is trapped, mixes with bacteria and can cause bad breath.There is no way to prevent this other than removal of your tonsils.One can use a water pick or other safe manner to remove them.

Other Symptoms?: How do you feel otherwise? Smoke?  This could be coming from your sinuses, or your stomach, or even your lungs.  How long has this been going on for?  Just when you wake up, or throughout the day?  If it persists, if you can cleanly catch some of "the stuff" (without mixing it with your saliva) save it and get it examined.
