Diet, Daycare ?: Various factors.
Most common ones is day care. Kids have numerous sick kids around them that can cause symptoms of viral gastroenteritis.
Second would be any food intolerance. See if there is any recurrent symptoms with certain foods offered? You might want to try rotating his diet.
Another would be parasites or bacteria in the GI tract.
What ever the cause, make sure he is well hydrated.

See answer: high protein intake can be one cause. Also, recent antibiotic use causing a change in the bacterial environment in your bowels responsible for breaking down and releasing increased amount of hydrogen sulfide.  Hope this helps.

Maybe vaginal odor?: I have to wonder whether the odor is vaginal, not rectal or related to bowel movements. Strong vaginal odor usually means bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal vaginal bacteria. It can be treated. Start with your family medicine or ObG doctor. If not vaginal, or if doc doesn't smell what you do, this might be a psycological. See what your doctor says. Good luck!

Personal hygiene?: Hi. Not to question the obvious, but are you clean? Feces, rotten eggs, garbage, and cat pee odors bring hygiene into question. Do you have cats? Do you keep their litter box clean? Are your bowel habits sanitary? I see you're on 2 antibiotics. Any changes in bowel habits on them? They can really mess with normal gut bacteria. Make an appt to see an ENT for a complete endoscopic exam of your nasal cavity in clinic, and possibly imaging (CT or MRI) based on exam and judgement.  High possibility that "something" is there creating the odor.  Your symptom is a well known 'urban legend' that every ENT takes seriously.

: Anal fissure can trap fecal residue and give this smell. Cleaning the area several times a day with soap and water will help[. When the fissure heals it should go away
