Bladder pain: You may be overstretching the detrusor muscle of your bladder which can cause bladder spasms. If you continue to have pain when you void you may need an emanation and urine tests to rule infection or other problems.

Accepted Answer

Night fluid intake?: Are you drinking beverages before going to bed?  That could be one reason that your bladder is full in the early morning.  Would recommend that you drink your beverages throughout the day, and avoid drinking at bedtime. Make sure you are noticing if you are having pain with it.  Does it burn with urination?  If so you may need to see your doctor and give a urine sample to check for UTI.

not taking meds my bladder fills up fast, even when i havent drank water. it fill up within the hour, for 6 hours a couple days ago. once i even had to pee 15 minutes after i had already gone. and i only took very small sips of water that morning?

: You may have  a small bladder capacity or overactive bladder rather than a need to pass large volumes of urine daily despite not drinking large amounts of fluids. I recommend measuring your daily fluid intake &amp; your daily urine output. If you void much.more than you drink,you may have diabetes insipidus or trouble with your kidney concentrating urine. A urinalysis' specific gravity checks this

: It could possibly from your stone. Drink plenty of water. You are young to have a kidney stone so pl see a Urologist and have 24 hr collection done to see for any abnormality.

Musculoskletal ?: Most likely you have musculoskeletal issues such as chronic sprain or repetitive stress injury. Arthritis is also a possibility. Internal problems of lungs, intestinal tract, kidneys etc. must also be considered. See your doctor.

Can try: Can try otc things like saw palmetto.  At some point it will progress to needing med like Flomax (tamsulosin) or cardura. Maybe even needing a procedure to open passage with microwave or laser.  Discuss situation with family physician or urologist.

why do i keep having black/ brown small pepper like specs in my urine. i am experiencing no bladder discomfort. also i expect some sharp pain on my left side once every blue moon?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you described suggests bleeding in the urinary tract and it could be due to stones.  It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

should you get a full bladder for a morning ultrasound scan?

For renal,OB&pelvic: If you are having a pelvic, OB or renal  ultrasound patients are typically asked to have a full bladder for the first (or transabdominal) portion of the exam. 

If an endovaginal exam is also ordered you will be asked to empty your bladder after the transabdominal exam.

The full bladder helps ultrasound waves travel through the body providing a "window" to better see pelvic structures.
