See dermatologist??: "itchy red dots" would generally be interpreted as a rash, best evaluated by a good dermatologist. If you've been walking through infested grass in the south, it could just be a case of "chiggers!" (a sarcoptic mite whose actual host is the grasshopper!) and you'd dust your socks with sulphur or avoid the grass. If it's a rash, there could be more serious problems to consider...

Hard to say: Can't really tell what these are without an exam or photo.  Could be insect bites, scabies, allergic reaction, or a skin infection.  Suggest you see a doctor to get them checked.  Good luck!

small bug bite size spot on leg. used calamine but got worse, now fist size. no major sores just red and itchy. thoughts?

Reaction, infection?: My two thoughts are a significant local reaction or a local infection. Since it is itchy, I'd go first with the local allergic reaction. Topical calamine often won't cut the mustard for this, so I would try oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and cool compresses to area. If after a few doses of that things are not improving, then I would be more suspicious of infection and you need to see doc or go to urgent care.

Probabaly not: Apparently you are concerned enough to ask. It doesn't sound serious and it is hard to tell about skin spots and rashes without seeing the, m. At your next doctor visit be sure to ask about them, and certainly go sooner if they are spreading or concern you.

Could be: It could be bed bugs or some other sort of insect bite. Check your bed and wash your linens and bed clothes in hot water. if it persists you may need to use insecticide on your furniture.

Simple skin irritation: Start by just observing. If it's gone in 1-5 days, Don't worry.
If it's getting worse or persisting more than five days look for an irritation source like clothing or an exercise machine that pushes/rubs too hard on your skin there.
Try simple skin creams.
