Arthritis: There are many causes of arthritis.  It sounds like you have had some medical care for this before.  I would recommend seeing your physician or rheumatologist for more information.

ct-scan report of 2 noncalcified nodules in the upper lobe of my right lung.  should i still be cleared to have arthroscopic knee surgery next wk?

Probably : These are chronic, and shouldn't cause cancellation of your knee surgery. They do need to be followed, or compared to old X-rays if available to ensure stability. May also need a ct scan at some point. Ask your primary care to follow up with this and recommend a course of action after your knee is fixed. Hope this helps! And good luck with the operation!

Knee pain: Your pain is likely secondary to patellofemoral syndrome or degenerative joint disease -- a thorough exam from your primary care provider (and maybe an xr) would be very helpful.  There are many successful treatment options for knee pain!

No: Clicking and popping sounds that dont cause pain are nothing to be alarmed about.  This is usually tissues rubbing causing a sound or a tendon or ligament rolling over a bony edge making a snapping sound.

Painful clicking or popping is a sign of potential meniscus tears or cartilage tears, tissue overgrowth, scar tissue bands, loose cartilage pieces and should be checked by your orthopaedic doc.

Get them checked: Small 'dots' or lesions on your knee may be of no significance, or could signify a wide variety of conditions.  Any skin lesion of which you are concerned should be seen by your primary physician or dermatologist.

Difficult to say...,: Without examining it. Could be tendinitis (inflamed tendon), a problem w/ a meniscus, arthritis, etc. Try putting an ice pack (over a towel to protect the skin) on it for 20 mins 3 times a day. You can also take Ibuprofen as directed if no contraindications. But if it doesn't get better in a week or so, get it checked by a doctor.
