Mild headache: I don't know what "eid" is? Acetaminophen can be very helpful for mild to moderate headaches. Because of musculoskeletal pain consider warm shower with flow of water towards neck and shoulders.

i was poked really hard in the left temple in an assault, 6 days ago. i went to er and they had no other concerns & let me go home. i have a very mild headache and very mild pain behind my left eye that comes and goes. will this pain eventually go?

: It should. Even minor head trauma can trigger single or multiple headaches of various intensity for the week or so after the event.

See your PCP: for examination and tests to rule out temporal arteritis. Initially the headache may be the only presenting symptom with the temporal and occipital regions being the most common locations. Tender spots or nodules may be present in the scalp, especially over inflamed arteries. See your PCP for evaluation and diagnosis.

Ice it!: Accidents happen. The best, easiest &amp; cheapest thing you can do is ice the area as soon as possible. Earlier is better, more often is better than less often.  Acetaminophen, if you're otherwise healthy, can be used for pain relief (I tend to avoid ibuprofen). As you didn't lose consciousness or develop neurological symptoms  (weakness, numbness) I surmise you will recover. Stay healthy &amp;Good luck.

C-spine disease: This sounds more like a cervical radiculopathy type of pain with a resultant tension type of headache and radiation of the nerve to the shoulders. Still you have to be seen so as not to miss anything more severe. A good exam and a good advise is best as the pain may be simple to treat as a symptom but the underlying disease may not be as easy. Go to your md.

Mild concussion: Sounds like the symptoms of what is referred to technically as "mild traumatic brain injury" or "mild concussion."  You may wish to have a neurologist look you over and get more exam data together if you don't resolve within the next 24 hrs.  Also, if headaches were to become more intense or chronic or you started having trouble with concentration/attention or other things see a doctor.

: Not clear that you need any treatment at this point, even if you take blood thinners.  But if severe headaches, nausea and/ or vomiting, dizziness or imbalance, double or blurred vision, notify your doctor
