May be, maybe not: Sedation could be a side effect of fluoxetine and can be dealt with changing the timing of medication timing. Sleepiness can also be due to worsening depression too, talk to your prescriber.

Sleep Specialist: At your age, it could be multifactorial. People do not sleep at night, or do not have good sleep hygiene, that is fixed sleep schedule may be sleepy all day. Having regular sleep schedule and waking up to see the sun can go a long way to prevent sleepiness. Other causes can be sleep apnea, narcolepsy, medications etc. See a sleep specialists if it bothers you.
