Erythromycin.: Erythromycin is an antibiotic, of course, but could be used for gastroparesis, too.  It stimulates the Motilin receptors in the stomach, which promote contractions.

i currently take victoza (liraglutide) and my doctor wants me to add invokana or faxiga which is better? less side effects? or is it time to change my victoza (liraglutide)?

Accepted Answer

Same: Farxiga and invokana are in the same drug  class with subtle differences. They are good complement to victoza (liraglutide). You would take both victoza (liraglutide) and one of the sglt2 inhibitors above.

i take exerge - hc (vitamin a c e, ) and cord liver oil capsule  bp 300 both twice a day , for fast fadig of my 1 mm depth scar, is it will helpful?

Scar Treatment: Vitamins a, c, and e do help the skin but topical kelocote and Mederma are more effective.  The most effective therapy for scars is the laser.

"OK" to be concerned: Iris nevi should be periodically assessed for growth as should any pigmented skin lesions. At your age melanoma iris risk is low. If pigment spot is significant i would recommend careful anterior segment photography to allow comparison over time. Iris melanoma's when they do occur are usually of the lowest grade of malignancy ; thus have a favorable prognosis if surgery is ever indicated.

Not recommended: Laser refractive surgery is generally not recommended for patients with glaucoma but it depends on many factors: is it early glaucoma, is prk planned? There may be exceptions to the general rule.

Might turn white: An advanced untreated cataract will eventually turn white in the pupillary space.  If still untreated, some will dissolve and lose the white color but more often will rupture and set up a terrific inflammation inside the eye.  In this era, cataract removal is so predictable and safe that advanced cataracts should be rare.

Rapid vision loss?: If there is rapid vision loss, it's not likely macular degeneration. You need an urgent eye exam.

Oculocutaneous: Albinism is a group of 4 conditions, each caused by a specific gene mutation inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern. When both parents carry the gene mutation, each of their children has a 25% chance of having oca. See his pediatrician ; a pediatric ophthalmologist for diagnosis  ; referral to a geneticist if he has it. Lack of melanin in the retina causes vision problems, so you need to know.

Vision in a child: That is an expected vision result for a six year old. The need for glasses in the future can depend on other things such as family history.
