whats the best at home treatment for a nair hair removal burn on the skin between my butt cheeks, but not on my butthole? ive been using diaper rash cream, which doesnt make it worse but im not sure if it helps. had sex & pooped w/out issue.

Skin irritation: Only time will heal a burn on the skin.  Keeping the area clean and dry is also important.  Cleaning with a rinse of warm water after using the bathroom or sex is all you really need.  Diaper cream is good as it provides a barrier for sensitive skin.  Use of Nair is not recommended on your genitals or butt.  Consider shaving, waxing, or laser hair removal in the future

Allergy: Seems to be allergic to cream. Avoid using cream. Try Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Keep area dry. Can try Ibuprofen for pain and Ice application.

Rash: Hair removal cream probably caused a contact dermatitis which is an irritation to your skin. The best cure is steroid cream. You can get otc steroid cream(hydrocortisone) but some times it could not be strong enough. Worth the try, but if not working then a prescription will be needed.

: A asteroid cream/ointment available over the counter may help. If a cream like Cortizone 10 does not relieve the symptoms in a day or two, it would be prudent to see a doctor.

: Yes, yes, the ice would certainly help. You might try some Benadryl cream or other antihistamine cream. Try to avoid getting hot to lessen the itching. Of course I would certainly avoid using that particular preparation on your face and I would even examine the ingredients in that particular facial preparation to see which one might be one that you may have reacted to in the past anyway good luck

Rash: This may be either an allergic reaction or a primary irritation from the chemicals in Nair. At this time keep the area clean and observe for spreading redness and warmth which is an indication of superimposed skin infection and this should be seen and treated by a physician. If there is only  associated itching you can apply a cortisone type ointment however.

Stop the cream: The facial skin is thinner than other parts of the body skin and is much more reactive.  Hair removal cream is mostly for legs and the trunk and should be kept away from the eyes .  If you face has gotten a rash, you might also be allergic.  Stop the cream, wash off the skin and use an emmolient.  You might try a light application of cortisone 0.5% cream from your drug store.

Irritated skin: OTC hydrocortisone cream 1 % would do, as well as time, apply only a thin film, avoid eyes/eyelids

Chemical burn: Ouch. Topical hair removal cream are not to be used on the vagina itself as they can cause chemical burns. Consider seeing an Obgyn so they can examine the area and determine if any treatment is needed

Tough one: There is some post laser discomfort but it should not last for weeks on end. Did you have initial complications like burns or blisters?
I worry about a nerve injury developing a complex pain syndrome in the shins. I would see a neurologist if this is going on for over 2 weeks possible a pain management specialist. Especially if the skin is getting tighter, shine and painful
