Allergy: A recurrent rash may be a sign of allergy or sensitivity to foods, clothing, lotions etc.  Keeping a symptom diary can help determine the cause.

Dry Skin: Apply Aquaphor or vaseline to your thumb every time you wash your hands

After you bathe...: ...Apply a good emollient lotion (any brand will do) to your skin while it is still moist, to lock in the moisture. If that doesn't solve the problem, there is more going on than just dry skin, and you will have to see a dermatologist.

Avoid vit e cream: Take an antihistamine to seeif this helps and if it is itching use an stringent called witch hazel.  Aveeno (oatmeal) bath oil is also good to use in the bath.

Eczema: Sounds like eczema.  Needs to be treated with mid to high potency steroids.  Could try twice daily Hydrocortisone ointment  and strict avoidance of soap, water and solvents for a few weeks.

Must stop Tamiflu: then use oral antihistamines: Benadryl or Zyrtec PLUS 1% hydrocortisone cream topically 2-3 times daily. If non-responsive see a dermatologist.

Siloderm mixi : This cream should not be used on your new born child . Its use can cause deafness among other severe symptoms. If child does indeed have boils he should be in the hospital receiving i.V antibiotics. See your doctor immediately for help.

should i use aqueous cream on an allergic skin rash?  why do they call it aqueous cream?

Yes if it's eczema: Use creams & ointments on eczema. Lotions & gels contain more alcohol. They soothe & cool the skin by evaporation but evaporation causes dryness. That's the last thing you want in eczema. Creams & ointments trap moisture in the skin - better for eczema. This is less important for contact dermatitis and not at all for hives. Aqueous means ingredients are dissolved in water.

i have a skin pingmitation which is called vinea viscolor. i am half black and this dead skin rash is seeming to spread fast.  i use liamsel cream.?

May need oral med: Tinea versicolor is a common fungal skin infection which has no real medical consequences beyond skin discoloration. Lamsil cream is good, but diffiult to cover all area, especially on back.  Recurrence is common as well, especially if you keep long hair. Consult doc for possible oral med and maintenance treatment--often a medicated shampoo such as nizoral (ketoconazole). Good luck.

Mosquito bites: That's what mosquito's do - cause those huge local reactions, and in a rare person, even more widespread reactions. If i get a mosquito bite on my leg, it will often swell to the size of a small cup saucer. It's due to histamine release locally. Sometimes cool compresses to the area are helpful, but for such a large reaction, topical anti-itch meds probably won't do much. Could try oral benadryl, (diphenhydramine) .
