Yes -  no yanking of: Dead skin. It is very easy to pull off a deep chunk of skin. Ouch !  it can be gently trimmed.

Don't get sunburnt: this is skin reacting to sun damage--avoiding sun exposure (or minimizing it with using high SPF sun screen and reapplying it as needed ) prevents sun skin damage

Seborrhea: Scaling and redness around the nose , and other areas of the face can be seborrheic dermatitis. A common treatment is low dose topical corticosteroids such as 0.5-1% cortizone (hydrocortisone) cream.

Wait for 2-4 weeks: Most facial peels take 2-4 weeks for  primary healing and another 4-6 weeks  for complete healing.  The purplish spots are usually benign  or indicate  blood  near the surface.  Occasionally they can be  more significant indicating conditions like rosacea  or skin cancer.  Wait at least 4 weeks, but  preferably 10 weeks from the  peel.  If still visible, then  see a skin doctor

Inadequate informati: You did not give enough information like what skin care products you were using and if you have problems with your scalp like dandruff. Face cleansing with good facial cleanser without much rubbing; and using like topical sulfur for acne may be helpful but at least not harmful.

: It depends on why the skin is peeling. Did you have a sunburn? Could you have nutritional deficiency? Take multivitamins in case you have a deficiency and apply an emollient. If that does not help, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, no tobacco alcohol or drugs.

Red nose: It will take time for the after-effects of inflammation to go away. It is like skinning your knee. The redness left over sometimes takes months to disappear.
