i am experiencing some problem on the left side of my body. my skin feels very sensitive and hurts even when i touch it but there is no rash or injury. can you please tell me what it may be?

: Unpleasant or painful sensation on touching the skin of only one side of the body is an unusual neurological symptom but can be seen in fibromyalgia or.migraine. A neurologist would be best to evaluate and advise you.

Early shingles??: Not certain, but it does sound like local nerve irritation, especially because of the super-sensitivity.  If a rash breaks out from here, see MD right away, I would be concerned you might be immune-suppressed.    Of course other ailments could cause, and be very benign.  Also, if it is shingles, earlier the treatment, the better.  This is always perplexing.  Get well.   Happy New Year.

Dysesthesia: This uncomfortable sensation on light touch represents a heightened sensitivity or irritability of superficial nerves in the skin of uncertain etiology. It is usually only a localized patch which often resolves without any treatment. A neurologist is best qualified to evaluate you if symptoms persist.

It : It sounds like you are having a lot of pain.  This is a very important symptom and should be medically evaluated right away.  It sounds like you are concerned about shingles, which as you know is a very painful condition.  Other things such as infection are a possibility.  Please see your doctor for an evaluation  right away and don't wait as this sounds very painful.

It's pretty common and usually not harmful, but sometimes a sign of allergy, e.g. if you're allergic to a new medication. If it continues or you remain concerned, see your doctor just to be safe. In the meantime, google it; lots of info is available online.

hi i just noticed that before the head of the penis i have these red small rashes. they are not bumps, you can't feel a bump when you touch it?

Most likely, ok...: As long as no local discomfort, such rashes may suggest mild balanitis (inflammation of glans penis), which is usually related with redundant foreskin with poor local hygiene. Without detailed history and inspection, it's hard to make a firm statement. 

If any doubt, go to see an expert in the field.
