OK, "infected"?..: If it looks infected to you, start treating with a topical antibiotic cream and get into the dr. for an evaluation to make sure you do not need antibiotics prescribed by mouth as well. Best wishes to you.

finger is healing from infection is it safe to peel off the skin?

No: There is chance of secondary infection from removing or peeling crust or dead skin from an infected finger that is healing! 
Only debridement is done surgically when  black necrotic dead skin is found in a slowly poorly healing wound !

this is an awkward question but can masterbating give you any skin infections on the finger?

No, but secondary: Masturbating will not cause a skin infection, but if you have an open sore on your finger, it may be susceptible to acquiring an infection through bacteria in your vagina.

my scalp tends to stink worse when i have headaches.my friends do smell it.fingers smell when touched.can it be contracted from a dogs skin infection?

Ringworm from dog: I suspect you may have "ringworm", which is a fungal infection commonly contracted from pets. These fungi eat keratin, the material found in the outer layer of skin and hair. These fungi love it even more when it's a warm and moist environment - like now in the summertime. I don't think the headaches are related, but you may need some antifungal treatment - good to show your scalp to a doctor.

i think little insect flew into my eye. i pressed my eye with fingers and thought that i killed it. when i looked inside the skin to check there was no insect.eye seems fine. is there any chance that i killed insect inside my eye? can i get infection

Insect: The insect probably flew out. It is not likely for infection to occur at this time. Of course infection can occur,but as above highly unlikely.

while i was playing with my dog, he accidentally bit my finger!he took off a section of skin and it was bleeding a lot.
all vaccines ok.infection?!

Possibly: not all bites require prophylactic antibiotics, but some recommend it if the hand is involved.  would consider getting evaluated urgently for any animal bites involving the hand.

broke my finger 3 weeks ago.  last week i developed a red hot, patch at  base of one of the broken bones. skin hasn't been broken. infection possible?

Broken finger: Yes this is a complication, and you should see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

i cut tip of my finger on the 4th and at the er they glued the skin around the cut/placed a splint and bandaids on it. i was told to not submerge it in water. i would like to know if i can wash it bc it smells. no signs of infection/other concern?

: Usually we recommend changing the initial dressing after 48 hours.  How long did you keep it on?  Thereafter, clean with soap and water, pat dry,apply a thin layer of antibacterial ointment and rebandage daily. It's a good idea to have your physician check the wound at this time and advise you.

i got a fungus infection.it spread from one toe to the other and i can see it spreading to the skin of the next two fingers and the top of my feet.for sometime now i have been using teatree oil.i have been taking meds for 3 days. what do i do?thankyo?

: You may need to take oral antifungal medication. Visiting a doctor or podiatrist may be helpful for proper diagnosis and a prescription, as needed.

Dermatitis NOS: A rash/skin infection for that long needs to be seen and evaluated so the proper diagnosis can occur and you can be treated for the underlying condition.  A Dermatologist is a skin specialist, so it would be recommended to see that kind of Doctor. best wishes yo you.
