Surgery?: Have you gone to a shoe cobbler to have your shoes stretched?  Usually a cobbler has some tools to help stretch out shoes in the key areas where you might have tightness from the shoes.  Otherwise i would suggest you see a podiatrist or foot and ankle surgeon to discuss your surgical options.

while i was running with less  size shoe , i got knee. it continues  for two years. still i feel uneasy in my knee?

Have it looked at: A knee injury can result in redness, bruising, swelling, pain, and possibly instability of the involved area.   Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

Get evaluated.: Symptoms of neuropathy can range anywhere from a numbness and tingling sensation, possibly a burning sensation, to an uncomfortable painful sensation of the extremities.  For some, these symptoms are mild, while for others, they can be severe and disabling.  Neuropathy can develop as a result of a pinched nerve, trauma, drug side effect, and some diseases such as diabetes.  Have you physician exam.

Unsure: Shoe size, age and height will not give an accurate estimate of adult height.  At 13 i was 5'10' with a shoe size of 9 and I am 6'1'.  My son had a shoe size of 9 at age 13, was 5' 0' tall and stopped growing at 5'10'.  X-rays of the growth center will allow the provider to guess but it will only be a guess.  Don't sign up for the nba yet.

Probably OK: Shoe size is not an accurate way of diagnosing growth disorders.  It would be helpful to know what her height percentile is and if she is tall for age, if she is well into puberty that would cause an earlier than usual growth spurt but not tall stature as an adul

Perhaps a spurt: The growth plates in the metatarsal bones and phalanges in the foot will determine the final shoe size as far as length is concerned.  Growth here can continue up to age 20.  In girls, the growth plates will close between 14-18.  She will most likely grow at least a bit more.

hello my son has been very concerned about his height recently. he is 15, 5'8" and wears a size 13 shoe. recently we went to one of his doctors (not primary) and after looking at an x-ray she said he was almost done growing. it didn't make sense to either

Observation: At 15 yrs your son is nearing end of adolescent growth spurt which for boys occurs thru age 18 yrs. The bone growth plates begin to fuse eg. (closure) beyond which growth ceases. Additionally, sexual maturation is also progressing. Boys can show a delayed growth pattern which is hereditary, similar to dad at this age. Advise son to eat a well-balanced diet, keep yearly wellness exams &amp; immunize.
