Retention cysts: Mucus retention cysts in the sinuses are common. As many as 30-40% of asymptomatic patients will have cysts of the sinuses on ct scans. The majority of these shrink without treatment or don’t change over time. Without symptoms or complications, observation is the best course to take. Thickening of turbinates can mean anything, from allergy to anatomic variance.

Chronic sinusiitis: Actually we call this chronic rhinosinusitis with a deviated septum. If you haven't seen an allergist for testing then consider that. Treatment is initially with salt water washes twice daily followed by a nasal corticosteroid.

can one get brain fog with only minimal hypertrophy of inferior turbinates and no mucosal thickening on ct-pns?
i don't have any anxiety or depression. i get normal sleep. but i frequently yawn during the day alongwith head heaviness. what to do?

No...but: The CT results from a sinus study  are consistent with a minor cold or allergies. They don't change how your brain works. However. a cold or allergies may trigger "brain fog" in some whether they have such changes or not.

Sinusitis: You  might have  rhinosinusitis which can be acute or chronic due to infection, inflammation  or allergies.  Symptoms vary but  may  include  stuffy or runny nose, pressure or headache, teeth pain, vertigo, postnasal drip,  persistent cough. Follow up with the doctor who ordered the scan to determine treatment options.

Not sure: First, why did you go for the cervical mri? Is it to follow up on an already established diagnosis? When one refers to the mucosa, it is what lines most of our orifices and others. Now your cervix also had a mucosa. So when the report read "mucosal disease" whatever you have has affected the mucosa, whether inflammation, infection or  abnormal cells.  Speak with your doctor for clarification.

Between the eyes: The ethmoid sinuses are between the eyes and are commonly the result of viral and or bacterial infections starting in the nose.  The answer to your question is the ethmoid sinuses are infected and the lining membrane is thickened.  The only method to prove your diagnosis is with a cat scan of the sinuses.

Usually no: Mild mucosal thickening in the sinuses is commonly seen on MRI. It can be the result of allergies. Fluid in the sinuses is more concerning as it can indicate infection (sinusitis)
