Bleeding? Spotting?: The average menstrual cycle is 28 days, but the normal range is 21-35 days. A cycle of only 15 days is short. If  bleeding on day 15 was more spotting, &amp; you are not using contraception, then implantation bleeding associated with conception would need to be considered. Other causes include significant weight loss or gain, stress, strenuous exercise, eating disorder, medications, &amp; peri-menopause!

Pregnancy?: Take a pregnancy test.  If it is negative, relax as missing a cycle or 2 is not uncommon and doesn't necessarily mean that something Is wrong.  However, it is always important to rule out pregnancy first! Stress can certainly cause changes in the menstrual cycle.

Day 14/Valentinesday: Your day of ovulation will be 14 days prior to the end of the cycle which in this case is also Day 14 from the beginning of your cycle. The Valentine's Day of "love making " for conception is around Day 14.

Apperently, YES.: This disease manifests in the 3rd to 5th decade of life, but can also be in children.  This is from iron overload that is deposited in tissues like heart, liver, and under the skin causing hyperpigmentation or darkening of the skin.  It likely goes away during menses because blood is lost during that time and the disease is not yet very longstanding.  Treatment is by blood drawing.  See dr. Now.

No, but...: Concerning abnormal menstruation, it is a good idea to be evaluated by a gyn-doc although one needs to consider the emerging menopause for a 53-t-o female. Clinically, some women may experience some urinary frequency around their period with specific reasons but elucidated as changing mucosal sensitivity of lower urinary tract secondary to hormonal fluctuation. Besides, UIT? Overdrinking of water?

Short cycles: Periods may vary as described and still be "regular" and healthy.  Depending on the sensitivity of your ovarian eggs or the strength of your pituitary production of LH hormone (luteinizing hormone), ovulation may occur at day 8- 12 which would account for a period at 22 or 27 days.   Remember that pregnancy is possible within 72 hours or so of your ovulation, which occurs 12-14 days before period.

Not at age 29: Peri-menopause rarely occurs at such a young age without premature ovarian failure.

See your doctor: Abnormal or increased and unexplained vaginal bleeding should always be medically evaluated. STDs usually don't cause heavy bleeding, but it's possible with gonorrhea or chlamydia. There are many non-STD possibilities as well. Play it safe and see your doctor soon. Good luck.

Menses: If indeed your period is late run a pregnancy test.
