Apperently, YES.: This disease manifests in the 3rd to 5th decade of life, but can also be in children. This is from iron overload that is deposited in tissues like heart, liver, and under the skin causing hyperpigmentation or darkening of the skin. It likely goes away during menses because blood is lost during that time and the disease is not yet very longstanding. Treatment is by blood drawing. See dr. Now.

No.: The amount of blood lost in a normal period cannot by any means reoved the hemosiderin deposits in your skin. You are also too young for this to be a factor, in that you are female. Look elswhere for the answer!
