You could see: Effects like a rash at the site of use.  Additionally, itchying, redness, pain or burning at the site of use is possible - mostly related to the fusidic acid(the antibiotic component).  The cream also contains Hydrocortisone which can lead to skin thinning(atrophy), stretch marks, prominent blood vessels or acne like rash.  These are the more common adverse effects.  Best of luck.

2-3 times a day: Moisturizers in general are safe and can be applied multiple times a day on the body.  Try using either cream or ointment which work better and avoid anything with perfumes or other fancy ingredients.  Stick to basics such as as aquaphor ointment or cetaphil cream

Not unless allergic: Other than relieving an itch, calamine lotion should not have any effect on the skin. It would be very unusual to be allergic to calamine lotion but it is theoretically possible, so if your skin seems more irritated, red, itchy or uncomfortable after using calamine lotion, stop using it and avoid it in the future. More likely would be effects from whatever rash you were using the calamine to treat.

Sure but ...: Most people would find the glycolic acid to be burning and causing peeling and irritation. I wonder if you are on too low of a dose of accutane? Next office visit tell your doctor you want to crank it up! you need to be on 1 mg per kilogram per day!

Steroid side effects: Calamine usually does not cause skin side effects other than irritation in rare cases. Steroids can cause skin atrophy, lightening of the skin and stretch marks from overuse. Discuss these and other potential side effects with your physician.

All have risks: There is no one product that will even out skin tone in all patients and be devoid of any side effects. Because each individuals skin reacts differently to skin creams it is important to have your skin evaluated by a board certified dermatologist who can prescribe the products most likely to help with the fewest side effects.

Sunblock moisturizer: Many people use over-the-counter moisturizers that contain sunscreen. Avoiding exposure to the sun will let skin lighten up. However, one should take extra vitamin d to make up for not getting vitamin d from the sun. Although having tanned skin from sun exposure is not a medical illness, there are a few uncommon hormonal medical conditions that can cause skin darkening.

See your doctor: Discontinue using any creams that cause redness or burning.  You many be allergic or sensitive to one of the ingredients.  If it does not get better quickly see your primany care doctor.

Lighten skin: Like most creams you could be allergic to these creams and they can darken the skin instead of lightening the skin if you don't do sun protection.

Medications/light: Hydroquinone is the mainstay of skin lighteners, however I often will use a combination of that, retinoids, and steroids for several months. Laser and light therapy are also very good if you are "splotchy"
