Caffeine &amp; sugar: An 8 oz. can of Red Bull energy drink has 27 grams of sugar and 80 mg of caffeine and traces of B vitamins. Diabetics should avoid. This liquid sugar load causes a spike and then crash in blood sugar. It's not healthy any day of the week.

120 mgm of Ritalin (methylphenidate) and few gallons of ED, monstrous looking cans 
Lets see how long it takes for you to ask the Lord

They can: If your diet has too much protein & not enough carbohydrates, you may feel tired. You may also be missing  essential other nutrients-vitamins & minerals & healthy fats. Energy drinks typically have a lot of sugar & caffeine & other stimulants that can make you anxious & jittery, & more fatigued when they wear off in a couple of hours. A balanced diet of healthy real food is a much better option.

Yes there are...: Energy drinks result in brain stimulation by providing excess caffeine and/or Amino Acids that the brain turns into stimulating neurotransmitters. Therefore you can develop the same physical and cognitive side effects as someone using cocaine. So buyer beware!

Energy Drinks: First there is no medical or health benefit from 'energy drinks'. These drinks are usually high in caffeine and/or sugars.  I would read the labels and if there are any carbs in the drink recommend that you not ingest it.

But, in general i would recommend avoiding these unnecessary and non-nutritional drinks all together.

Sleep?: Are you getting enough sleep?  Many adults try to get by on 4-6 hours of sleep per night.  Try to aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night.  Try to go to bed at the same time each night. Also avoid using smartphone or tablets  right before bedtime. The light from these screens can interfere with sleep. End screen time usage an hour before bedtime.

i'm a 35 yr old female and everytime i start to drink coffee i end up having pain in my chest on the left side. i was told back in 1997 that i had developed pleurisy in my chest from drinking energy drinks but i read that caffeine doesn't cause pleurisy.

Not pleurisy: I agree that that caffeine does not cause pleurisy. As to why you get chest pain with coffee (just  caffeinated coffee or any hot liquid),I haven't a clue.If it is bothersome,stop drinking it.Doubt any serious problem.
