Slow recovery: Assuming it was an arthroscopic rotator cuff repair it means 3-6 months of rehab.  Of course large tears and method of repair affects this.  Follow your therapist and surgeon instructions to a t and remember that over doing it doesn't  get you better faster, it can actually have the  opposite effect. Good luck!

Yes: 'slap' tears are labral( cartilage) tears that occur anterior ( in the front of) and posterior ( in the back of), the long head of the biceps tendon in the shoulder joint(hence: acronym slap).Some slap tears involve the biceps anchor itself( type 2) and can cause pain/ popping etc... The biceps tendon can tear in isolation or w/ the rotator cuff tendon(s)... Hope this helps...!

Anything: That causes pain discomfort or altered movement the the shoulder can lead to s frozen shoulder. Early motion of the shoulder in a manner that eliminates gravity and pain such as pendulum exercises and gentle motion while lying down will help to keep the shoulder mobile . Talk to your treating doctor and therapist about what is appropriate for your injury.

is surgery indicated for a 30 percent bicep tendon tear? my husband is 35 and very active.  will this cause extreme pain in shoulder and shoulder blad

Rest/PT consider srg: If only 30% of the tendon is torn ( usually determined by mri), a period of rest followed by physical therapy will reduce and increase function in aprox 75% cases. If that fails prp can be tried (platelet rich plasma) injection(s). Surgery is indicated if the symptoms persist despite conservative treatment. Often the biceps injury is just part of other problems in the shoulder joint requiring surg.

i have tendonisis in the shoulder i may need to take ciprofloxacin would this affect my tendonisis am i more at risk of tendon rupture?

Tendonitis is a risk: I can not say whether  the cipro (ciprofloxacin) will make your tendnitis worse or not. You need  to discuss this with your physician and see if there is an alternative to cipro (ciprofloxacin)
