NO: You are feeling the "Rotator Cuff" (the tendons which surround the shoulder allowing THE MOST MOTION of ANY JOINT in the whole body!  At your age this tendon tissue and the CARTILAGE of the joint itself are PLIABLE ..can stretch and make the sound you"hear".
If you are otherwise HEALTHY this is all NORMAL!\

It is a complicated joint and the snap, whether it is associated with or without pain, could represent a significant abnormality. Check with orthopod with special interest in shoulders.
