Pressure: Try to keep your head elevated to reduce pressure on your shoulder and in keeping your spine straight.  A pillow e tween your legs will also reduce hip pressure. Both will help to minimize any joint problems from sleeping on your side.

All depends.: for a torn muscle or tendon, would favor MRI. A neoplasm could be initially be evaluated with an ultrasound. it may determine whether cystic or solid

Many things: Many things can cause it.  Capital tunnel,  shoulder,  neck,  brain.... Problems in any of these areas can cause hand numbness.  Shoulder nerve probs usually have pain,  too.

Short or long term?: It is common within 48 hours of treatment to have temporary symptoms like this in other parts of the body, then they go away. If its been longer than that, see if there is a needle bruise there. That could take a week or do to go away.

Probably OK: If you had steroid and or lidocaine you should be fine.  Whether or not you will have a problem depends on the medications used for the injections and how much medicine was used.  It is always best to let all your doctors know you are breast feeding before any shots, treatments, or any medications are prescribed.

Both certainly could: Both of these can cause posture, shoulder, back and/or gait problems. The pilonidal cyst likely had you sitting in funny ways to keep it from hurting. You might have even been walking funny as a result. Whatever impact fractured your sternum almost certainly affected you shoulder girdle and/or thoracic spin. You should seek out a do skilled in omm to help set you straight.

Muscle Weakness: One does not just get surgery.  If your muscles are weak and unstable then they must be strengthened. This is usually done with physical therapy, not with surgery.

Yes: It could be due to a pinch nerve in your neck and not to your shoulder at all.You should have it check to r/o other possible causes.
