Alcohol and arm pain: Many possibilities, some of them very dangeous e.g. Heart pain or gastro-esophageal pain.  Best to stop drinking alcohol until you can call your doctor for an examination.

Not a good idea: This is not a good idea but a single vicodin will probably not do any harm. Heavy drinking is always a concern. Please seek help to stop that pattern before it causes severe harm to your body.

Unrelated: I am not aware of any way the shoulder pain is related to eating or drinking. It could be that shoulder is painful in certain positions you move your arm.  Depending upon how long it has been going on you need to be examined to figure out what is going on with your shoulder. Please  see your doctor who can do preliminary assessment and if necessary refer you to an orthopedic surgeon. Good luck.

Referred pain: I suspect  referred pain from the neck but other  causes could be  involved like esophageal involvement,  or referred  from gall bladder. Your physician can clarify this and have you get the appropriate  evaluation

Referred pain: It seems that this type of pain is produced by one of the abdominal viscera, such as stomach, duodenum, gallbladder etc.Alcohol can stimulate those organs producing what is called radiating or referred pain.

Unusual: Cervical radiculopathy typically is not related to eating. Consider gastrointestinal conditions that may be causing these symptoms. Gallbladder problems, for example, can produce not only abdominal pain but pain that moves to your back or right shoulder blade. Check with your doctor.

: Gallbladder and stomach inflammation may cause this referred pain  Consider H pylori testing, a probiotic and eating yogurt with your meals. A PPI can be prescribed by your physician. Watch for severe pain,fever and vomiting.

Need evaluation :   This could be chest wall muscle pain, pain from inside the chest sometimes call pleurisy, pain from your heart, sometimes call pericarditis, or some other reason. You need to see your physician to get this evaluated.
