EIA: Exercise induced asthma (eia) is a common problem especially in elite athletes. Talk this over with your physician so you can work out a pre-exercise treatment regimen. Your shoulder is another story. You may want to talk this over with a sports medicine physician who can give you an exercise regimen that won't damage your shoulder. Don;t do anything on your own is either case.

Glutamine: unlikely it will have any useful effect. While it may be building block for protein and therefore muscles, the instability is not a muscle problem but caused by loose or lax joint capsule

Yes: A bankart proceedure when indicated works very well to stabilize the shoulder. The procedure repairs the tear in the anterior labrum of the shoulder. This structure helps to hold the head of the humerus in its socket. When torn, you may find you occasionally dislocate the humeral head from its socket.

Call surgeon!: Please call your orthopedist, or talk to the doc on call for the practice.  That doc knows what procedure was done and what possibly could be causing the pain now.  If you have fever, severe pain that is new, new numbness, tingling or weakness, and you cannot reach the doc, go to the ER for evaluation.

Needs a workup: There really shouldn't be a connection between instability in your shoulder and a lump in your humerus.  At least an xray should be done, being evaluated by your orthopaedic surgeon again would be necessary.

Exercises!: Multidirectional instability (mdi) of the shoulder is a condition that should initially be treated with a dedicated conservative physical therapy program. The goal is to strengthen the muscles surrounding the shoulder joint to provide dynamic stability to the joint, as the underlying problem in mdi is due to static ligamentous laxity. You should expect a lot of muscle strengthening exercises.

Listen to the doc: I assume your shoulder is subluxing, and falling out of socket. The surgery will stabilize the shoulder and prevent these episodes from recurring. 
Afterwards, learn the do's and don'ts of shoulder instability and strengthen the muscles under PT supervision
