No mucus that day: Most likely explanation is that you washed thoroughly or perhaps more thoroughly on day in question. More than usual &amp; your introitus (space between labia) was dry because there was no mucus produce by the mucus producing glands in the area. This will happen more &amp; more often when you approach menopause &amp; mucus production slows down or stops.

Allergies: It resembles allergies really. They flare up at night. Try neti pot nasal rinses. I've had very good response with them.

Anxiety: It may be anxiety, or it may be a significant hormonal problem. It's not uncommon for anxiety to cause night sweats, and it's also not uncommon for night sweats to cause even more anxiety. The mechanism is activation of your "fight or flight" system (sympathetic).
The treatment is to cure the cause- anxiety.

Change shampoo: You need to change to a shampoo such a t sal that contains salicylic acid and leave in for 30 minutes and then lather and rinse. This will decrease the build up from the over tive oil glands in your scalp. A topical anti-inflammatory prescription such as lodex may help.

i used monistat 3 for the first time last night and this morning there was a lot of medicine discharge. do i leave it there or do i clean it up with a shower?

: Treatment of fungal (yeast) infections frequently produce vaginal discharge, which is no longer acting on the vaginal canal, so washing it away is OK.  The infection may require another application of Monistat 3 if symptoms reoccur.
