: Plan B is about 95% effective at preventing pregnancy. It alters the hormonal balance and interfere with your cycle. If you do not get a period by three weeks after sex, do a home pregnancy test. . If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.

Oligomenorrhea: Some other possibilities besides pregnancy include taking oral contraceptive pills, being overly thin, or exercising too much. Late period ?'s:  A late period may be secondary to delayed ovulation, and menstrual flow begins 14 days after ovulation.  Causes can be stress (emotional, job, school, etc.) or an early pregnancy which ended (miscarriage),  a common occurrence prior to successful carrying of a pregnancy to term.

Do a pregnancy test: If the pregnancy test is negative i dont see a problem, especially if you eventually get you period (within 36 dyas from last period). Rare for cycles to be exactly the same if not on birth control pills. Bleeding longer and heavy is more indicative of a problem.
