Myomectomy: The fibroids can be removed and the uterus left in place for future successful conception. There are skilled gyn md's who can do this procedure.

i'm having a surgery next week to remove polyps from my uterus and the doc told me not to take meds that thin blood. i take oxy for my back, that's ok?

Yes: If you are referring to oxycodone or oxycontin then no, this will have no blood thinning properties therefore safe to use before surgery.

: Fibroids are very common in women. Unless they are causing significant pain or bleeding, then they are generally not a problem. But of course you should speak with the doc who ordered the ultrasound about your concerns.

Nope: Even dr mckoy couldn't beam out a uterus without calling it surgery... Seriously, removing a body's organ requires surgery, even if minimally invasive. Vessels, ligaments, etc have to be severed and sealed one way or another. Sorry.

About 2 weeks: If it is done laparoscopically you will be able to drive and move around 6-8 days after surgery. Remember that you will have a pulling sensation/pain into the groin for several weeks. Every week will be better. No heavy liftng for 6 weeks and listen to your body.
