Its a reaction: That reaction can be found in some antifungal creams such as nystatin. In my experience the burning lasts only a short time and does no harm to the skin. Its best to go to the pharmacy and take the antifungal with you and ask for a different one. When you apply put a very small amount on  your skin and note the reaction.

Unprotected Sex?: Painful urination is sign of urinary tract infection which is rare in young healthy males. Go see you doc for evaluation

Possible Yeast: infection.Yeast can present with clumpy, white vaginal discharge to a watery, white discharge. Sometimes a discharge is not apparent. There is no odor. It can cause swelling and redness of vulva along with itching and burning pain. It may lead to pain with urination or intercourse. Can take a pregnancy test if concerned this is spotting &amp; not a period. Take care.

Scrotodynia: Treatment of scrotodynia can be difficult and a satisfying outcome may not be achieved. However, there have been reports of success with amitriptyline, paroxetine and fluoxetine. While these medications have traditionally been used for depression, they are also commonly used for a range of chronic pain syndromes. The symptoms of scrotodynia may recur with the cessation of medication.

Local ?: If you treated this with local cream like anti-fungal, you may need oral medication.  See your pcp.

See below: If BV, yeast, trichomonas, GC, chlamydia and other STDs have been reliably ruled out with both appropriate gyne exam and cultures, then I would next try to rule out a "contact dermatitis". A number of chemical substances, including creams, douches, condoms, contraceptive foams, laundry detergents, soaps, scented toilet paper, and fabric softeners can irritate the vagina and vulva.

Need evaluation: I don't know how much assessment was done prior to being prescribed prednisone. Without knowing the actual cause of your vulvar rash- we certaintly can't tell you the next step in your treatment. However, if you haven't had an in-person assessment to include physical examination - that would be a good next step. Take care.

Possible: another type of infection causing problems.  Could also be related to carb sensitivity/insulin resistance/polycystic ovarian syndrome. Discuss with your doctor for further testing/treatment options. See a doctor that treats vulvodynia,  a gynecologist.

what is the best cream to put on a burn?

Antibacterial: It depends on the degree of the burn. For first degree burns and mild sunburns, where only red, painful skin is present without blistering, aloe or aloe with Lidocaine may be helpful.  You could also use prescription silvadene (silver sulfadiazine).  For second degree burns covering small surface areas, silvadene (silver sulfadiazine), bactroban, and Bacitracin are all good.  For larger burns, seek medical care.

A burn in a 7 months: Old baby!!!!, raises lots of questions??? If othewise fine and purely accidental, please take the baby to the doctor
