Yes: Nadolol, like other beta blockade medications, can cause pulmonary constriction and mimic an asthma-like condition. Discuss with your doctor about switching to another medication. If the beta blockade is working for your pots symptoms, then ask about beta blockade medication with limited lung side effects.

Yes: Normally alcohol will increase your heart rate and pulse volume -- and elevate the pulmonary pressure and this will make you feel harder to breath --.

: If you can COVID-19, you should be staying away from everyone else anyway. Also, rest will give you to hydrate yourself adequately and if you cough, it will be easier to get phlegm out. Hope you and person around you are vaccinated . If not, they should get vaccinated as soon as possible. Hope it helps.

Could be: Could be cervical radiculopathy or simple muscle strain. Try moist heat to the area and Motrin if you are not pregnant.

Different treatment: You may need to be treated by your doctor for chronic asthmatic bronchitis instead of flu/bronchitis.  Pneumonia also needs to be ruled out. To have sputum culture would be a good idea. Your  medications should change accordingly .

Short of breath: As you suggest learning to breath properly with singing is important. If you have good technique then you have to be evaluated for obstructive and other lung disease. If you can't get air out of your lungs easily, you'll get sob really fast trying to sing..

Dyspnea : Shortness of breath is usually from pulmonary or cardiac factors, mixed, or non cardiac pulmonary. A visit to your physician to do spirometery to test for asthma and other lung problems may be helpful, as well as an EKG, and you may require testing for Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Please don't smoke. There are other tests in the workup depending on the history of the dyspnea. Good luck.
