It could just be: A normal foot may have either the first, second, and rarely the third toe as being the longest. If the toe is much shorter, there could be a medical, genetic, or traumatic origin.  If you do not have pain, or difficulty wearing shoes it just might mean nothing, If you do experience these things, please do consult with a podiatrist.

Possible fracture : If you jammed it quite forcefully you could’ve caused damage to the Joint in your big toe. If the joint is stiff and you’re unable to bend the toe chances are you have damage to the joint. I would see a podiatrist or your family doctor and have x-rays taken
