pain in my right arm,elbow,wrist,and hand . severe when i try to turn my arm over,or lift anything,even signing my name is difficult. been this way for two weeks now. can't really do much with my right arm without severe pain shooting down my arm.

Two different things: Lipoma is collection of fat in one area. Swelling secondary to starting an IV could represent hematoma, a collection of blood slowly oozing from iv. Both can be painful. Swelling from IV should go away in few weeks time.

Many things possible: On the right side are the ribs, chest muscles, the lung, and the lining of the lung (pleura). Nearby are the arteries, lymph nodes in the armpit, etc... So, pain can originate from many places. Sometimes there is a problem in a part of the body a little farther away, but the nerves carrying the pain signals can "refer" pain to the right armpit and ribcage area. One's primary care doctor can check.
