Breathing pain?: this could be an inflammation of the lungs or the sac that surrounds the lungs ( pleuritis). You need an examination and a chest xray- do not ignore these symptoms- get to a clinic ASAP.

See below: The sharp pain with inhalation sounds like pleurisy where the lining of your lungs gets inflamed.  I am not quite sure what the pop is.  It would best to be evaluated by your doctor to determine what exactly is going on.

Referred shoulder pa: Shoulder pain can have many causes.  Need to be examined by a doctor and urgently if breathing difficulties.  You may have referred pain from the lungs or other body parts.

Pulled muscle: Your symptoms are consistent with pulled muscle. Any NSAID like motrin or advil (ibuprofen) will help.  If you have increased pain or trouble breathing you need to be seen.

i have a very sharp pain when i breathe in my right shoulder. it's worse when i lay down or bend forward. it has made carrying my bag a challenge. i did a chest x-ray and it was normal, 7sessions of physiotherapy but still nothing. what could it be?

Neck or up back: If you carry a heavy back pack this can cause problem
in neck or back that may not show on x-ray.
May need to have structural exam or see a Sport
