Might be serious: If this is new chest pain, it could be cardiac, meaning coming from your heart. This requires immediate medical attention.

If you know it isn't your heart for absolutely sure, other things can cause the patterns of pain you describe - radiating pain from your stomach or pancreas, bad gas, or a muscle strain are a few of the possibilities.

Pleurisy?: The pain due to pleurisy is worse on deep inhalation breathing.You may have musculoskeletal pain but if you are concerned about pleurisy see your doctor and he can examine you and order chest xray if he suspect pleurisy.On exam on auscultation you can hear a pleural rub most of the time and xray wil confirm it or rule out pleurisy.See your doctor asap.

Pain: Pain below the shoulder is very likely muscular. It is possible you may have a pulled muscle causing sharp pain. However, at your age there are several other possibilities such as shingles. Please see your doctor for proper evaluation. Also, note any other symptoms such as shortness of breath, sweating, burning pain etc.

Evaluation needed: Very commonly, pain near or around the shoulder blade is not shoulder related at all.  Instead, it is most often related to neck/cervical spine related issues.  A "pinched nerve" from the neck either from a disc bulge/herniation/bone spur is usually the culprit.  The only way to know for sure would require an evaluation from an orthopedic surgeon or perhaps your primary care provider.

Left scapular pain: Tough one. Most benign cause muscle spasm (serratus anterior). More significant causes: cardiac issue, pulmonary embolism, aortic dissection, thoracic nerve root irritation, shingles, pleurisy, etc, try keeping your elbows closer to your sides as you walk, raise or lower the walker with your therapist, do wall push-ups etc and if no better or importantly if worse see your doctor

Chest wall pain: Moving arm and deep breathing making the pain worse, tells that pain is from your chest wall, possible muscle or bone.
