Partly: It's associated and caused by the same factors that cause most stress incontinence  but stress incontinence can occur without prolapse.

Not necessarily: Uro-gynecologist, gynecologist with expertise in stress urinary incontinence or urologist shoukld be able to diagnose ; treat. Majority of sui patients to not have bladder or uterine prolapse especially when they are as young as you.

Several: see below.: Risks of rectal prolapse surgery depend on approach: surgery through the perineum, or bottom, has few risks, but a higher recurrence rate. Abdominal approach has risks common to abdominal surgery (bleeding, infection, wound problems, adhesions etc) but a lower ecurrence rate. Most people note worsened continence after prolapse repair: most improve, but the degree of improvement varies.

Not usually: A weak sphincter might increase incontinence but rectal prolapse doesn't necessarily cause incontinence other than just changing your perception of a need to pass stool if it's severe prolapse.

You have options.: You could be fitted for a pessary that would support your pelvic organs.  Many women do very well with a pessary.  Their are many surgical options for pelvic organ prolapse.  To determine the best treatment for you would require an exam to determine exactly what type of prolapse is present.  It is important to see someone who specializes in this type of surgery.

Depends on Uroflow: For my patients, whether I recommend UPJ valve surgery or not is dependent on the results of the UroFlow studies that I have all Urologists perform on patients with hydronephrosis (even if it's treated). Without knowing the UroFlow results (numbers), it's hard for me to guide you as to whether I agree or disagree with the Urologists' recommendation. Your symptoms suggest UPJO but not its severity.

You may: Prolapsed uterus, when symptomatic, will cause the patient to experience heaviness sensation, a feeling like something is falling out, worse while standing or exertion . You need to be examined in order to ascertain the degree of relaxation and decide with your provider what type of treatment is suitable for you.
