Burning hands : A few general categories come to mind. Neurological, skin, metabolic.  It may be a  skin reaction, a  problem with the nervous system or an issue affecting the body's metabolism. Metabolic can be a nutrition deficiency, changes in  metabolic control or balance (like diabetes), or a toxin like heavy metals

PCP: This particular problem is not going to be able to be answered on this site.  My recommendation would be to see her pcp and she will probably need lab work and x-ray and examination to make an accurate diagnosis.  This could be anywhere between carpal tunnel syndrome and osteoarthritis.

Joint pain: See a physician.  You should be evaluated for your symptoms to rule out medication side effects or a nerve or rheumatologic condition.  I recommend seeing your primary care provider first, who can then refer you to a rheumatologist or neurologist as appropriate.

Carpal tunnel: Your symptoms may suggest a carpal tunnel syndrome which is due to a median nerve compression at the wrist. An exam can usually make the diagnosis. An electromyogram can be helpful as well. See a rheumatologist, orthopedist or hand surgeon.
