Few suggestions...: Try taking one or more of the following: simethicone, charco-caps, or probiotics.  Dietary insoluble fiber causes gas as does lactose if you are lactose intolerant.  A low-fodmaps diet (ibsfree.Net) can help control chronic gas. Good luck!

Gas: Gasx, simethicone.  Gas is either from swallowing air, indigestion, or dysbiosis. Natural remedies include digestive enzymes and probiotics.

Dysbiosis: With the gas it seems you may not be digesting right.  See your doctor to evaluate your digestive system.

Post eating: Are you sure that you're not having symptoms after eating diary products(lactose intolerance)?  If not, you may have a type of irritable bowel syndrome. A loose bowel movement usually follows the cramping in IBS. A hyperactive gastrocolic reflex is another possibility. Taking an antispasmodic like dicyclomine 1/2 hour before the meals prevents the cramping. See gastroenterologist as needed

Is it really gas...?: Abdominal pain is never normal, but you have not indicated the intensity, duration, or circumstances of your symptoms.  Lots of things cause abdominal pain--see my earlier healthtap answers on the subject please.  If pain is severe (as you indicate) or worsening, don't delay in seeking evaluation & getting treated. The history of jaundice may have nothing or everything to do with your symptoms.

GB disease?: Very simply, you're complaining of right sided abd pain, bloating and increasing belching.This complex could possibly be signs of gallbladder disease.Usually this would be worse after fatty foods, and nausea/vomiting could also be associated.I suggest you try a low fat diet, good hydration, and seek a medical opinion. Swalling air: You're drinking too fast and swallowing a lot of air with it.  Slow down and don't gulp.

what does "severe'" gas-bloat after nissen fundoplication mean/look like? what causes gas-bloat after this surgery?

Can't burp: An effective nissen fundoplication provides a barrier to gastroesophageal reflux,  but also a barrier to vomiting and burping since the lower esophageal sphincter no longer relaxes to let air (or other stomach contents) escape upward from your stomach.  The air then accumulates in the stomach, resulting in gas and bloating until it can be evacuated into the small bowel.
