Many possibilities: See a physician - in particular, you may need to be evaluated for rheumatologic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, etc. 

Your anemia should be evaluated, as well -- although many young women have low-end hemoglobin levels because of menstruation.

Healthy lifestyle: You will need to discuss with your doctor in pertain to your anemia, what is the cause, what is the treatment etc. The treatment will depend on the cause. Eating the right food is really the key here- rather than eating too much food. Eating the right food does not mean you have to eat a lot. To lose weight, you should burn more calories than the calories you take. Healthy lifestyle is crucial.

Anemia : Anemia could be the cause of your headaches, dizziness, and lack of energy. Make sure your doctors find the underlying cause of your anemia and address that as well. Also make sure you are taking enough iron. In addition you should be screened for anemia, thyroid issues etc.

?Not anemic: Your rbc is low, but hct is probably at the bottom of normal.  The other lab values are all normal.  This discrepancy between rbc and hct usually means either your red cells are unusually big, or something is interfering with the counting.  This can happen with a cold agglutinin (red cells clump in the cold), excessive alcohol, liver problems, or low thyroid.  Given other symptoms, check thyroid.

Severe anemia: One can die from severe anemia from massive acute bleeding  due to hypoxia - decrease oxygenation to vitals organ that resulting in organ failure . When  anemia iis a slow ongoing/chronic  process- our body can compensate. When it is severe enough- enlargement of the heart /cardiomegaly and congestive heart failure can happen. Kidney failre and death can happen in severe hemolytic anemia.

Moderate: Moderate anemia. Next steps will include comparing it with previous values and iron studies in order to understand if it is caused by iron deficiency. Based on results, further work up will be formulated by your PCP.

Dark greens: Worked for popeye. Spinach and other dark greens are good natural sources of iron. Red meat obviously, but harder to eat in quantity. Nothing unreasonable about using supplements & vitamins when you are coming from behind.
