Q: my dad has been diagnosis with multiple sessile polyp less than 100 with less than 7mm in size in stomach . do you think it can be cancerous?

?<100: Question not clear. Whats less than 100? Does he have 70-80 stomach polyps? 7mm stomach polyp usually doesnt have cancer. They may have biopsied it if concerning.

Maybe: Sessile polyps are flat and broadbased versus a pedunculated polyp that has a narrow stalk. Both have the potential to harbor a malignancy or be pre malignant.

Exclude cancer: Flat (sessile) polyps have a risk of being pre-malignant (tubular adenoma or sessile serrated adenoma) or malignant (colon carcinoma). The only way to be sure is to send the biopsy sample to pathology to be interpreted and diagnosed.

Just: an "incidental" matter...some products of vegetable ingestion were found along with the polyp! NOT TO WORRY!

Diminutive polyp: No reasons to worry before the pathology report. Most polyps are benign, and even if that is not the case, being diagnosed early will give you a good prognosis.

just had a bunch of polyps removed 7mo ago (1 malignant & 3 pre-cancerous). now a 7mm sessile polyp is removed. is this fast growth or missed polyp?

Need genetic testing: Need more information , any family members has polyps, if  you family members  with similar problems  then may genetic , red further investigation, .

endo showed many sessile polyps 3-6mm in size, been taking prilosec yrs, should i stop ,how can i  stop without bad flare? please scared of this all!

Polyps: are not a reason to discontinue taking Prilosec.  If polyps are found by colonoscopy are in the colon then hopefully one of the polyps was biopsied and found to be benign.  If that is the case, then follow up colonoscopy should be done within the recommended follow up time.  Prilosec should not affect polyps in the lower intestinal tract and if anything should be helpful for the upper GI tract.

i had a colonoscopy with two sessile polyps. one was 11mm the other was 14mm. is there any chance this could be cancerous or precancerous. i can't remember the explanation, just read the report.

Pathology: It is only a second report, the pathology report, that will eventually clarify cancerous/ non cancerous. Based on results and your family history, the next colonoscopy will be scheduled.

Cholecystectomy: indications vary, you mentioned only one single sign, your doctor has a logic in deciding surgery. Second opinion is your right, but you need to be seen and examined by another surgeon, finally we treat patients not lab/ radiological tests, good luck
