Endo showed many sessile polyps 3-6mm in size, been taking prilosec yrs, should i stop ,how can i stop without bad flare? please scared of this all!

Polyps: are not a reason to discontinue taking Prilosec. If polyps are found by colonoscopy are in the colon then hopefully one of the polyps was biopsied and found to be benign. If that is the case, then follow up colonoscopy should be done within the recommended follow up time. Prilosec should not affect polyps in the lower intestinal tract and if anything should be helpful for the upper GI tract.
