Circumcision is best: Your glans skin will become lessensitive as time goes by after circumcision. You might like to try steriod cream such as Betamethasone or kenalog (triamcinolone). They relieve phimosis in about 5)%  after twice daily applications to the tight phomotic foreskin, but many initial successes recur. A prepucioplasty, or dorsal slit is a surgical alternative which preserves the foreskin.

NGU or not??: Tests are not perfect. NGU is usually medical shorthand for a chlamydia infection. Your GP thinks you don't have one. If sx persist get reevaluated and make sure your partner is treated at same time or else you will "ping pong" it back and forth.

May be...: Most likely, what has been happening to your penis is a benign but one of chronic annoying skin conditions such as lichen sclerosus/atrophicus, foreskin-related balanitis, psoriasis, etc. Note: accurate DX needs direct look.  So, to clarify it, it's worthwhile to see dermatologist or urologist . For the time being, avoid compulsive chemical ; physical washing, and thinly apply steroid cream.

You can stop: if the initial period of itching has stopped, then ok to stop using lotion (1-2 weeks should be adequate).  If skin remains dry, you could switch to &quot;non-medicated&quot; emollient such as Vanicream or Aquaphor, which would be less sensitizing. I hope I understood the question.  Check with your UPMC doctor, they are highly respected

I don't think so.: Weaker erection could be stress related, medication side effect , too frequent m. Take care!

Yes: As long as you are not having fever, redness, or unusual swelling than a topical agent can be considered.  Ask a compounding pharmacy to make blt, a combo of benzocaine, Lidocaine and tetracaine.  Your doc can order it.

Unsensitive penis: This can be normal as long as the sensation is normal elsewhere.
If you are concerned you can see a urologist about this.  Try not to be overly concerned and enjoy what you have.
