A corn is : Essentially dead skin accumulated secondary to friction. Acid burns the skin away. When you don't see the corn anymore then stop. I am nota fan of acid as it is easy to burn ones healthy skin so if you chose to do so, do it with caution. No diabetic should ever use acid.

Podiatrist can help: rather than waste money on ineffective over-the-counter treatments, you should see a good podiatrist to have these evaluated. Sometimes they are related to  contact on underlying bone spurs. Make sure you go to a conservative, high-quality podiatrist since sometimes you could have over aggressive treatment. Ask a local orthopedic foot and ankle specialist who they use for local podiatry care

First, : First, i would make sure it is a corn as opposed to a callus.  Corns are caused by too much pressure in combination with friction.  They are essentially the bodies way of protecting the area from the pressure and friction.  Calluses are more diffuse whereas corns are more cone-like thickenings.  The most homeopathic treatment would be to make sure your footwear is appropriate and not putting too much pressure on certain areas of your foot.  Beyond that, traditional measures can help combined with finding a good podiatrist.  I hope that helps.

Despite much anecdotal evidence suggesting benefit(s) from the supplements you mention, high quality and more reliable research seem to indicate that these supplements have little or no benefit for reducing bph-related symptoms. Very high placebo response.

Many: If you are healthy, there are over the counter treatments that are safe such as pads designed to thin the problem area and devices to thin the skin (pumice stone, etc.). This helps prevent sweat in feet that could be the underlying cause of corns.  Next, trim down the corns with a file or using Vicks vapor rub to soften them.  Lastly, off-load areas with too much pressure with inserts in your shoes.  Hope this helps!

You Choose.: Treating corns is really straight forward. Trimming the corn may relive the pain temporarily, but there is evidence that this practice actually makes the corn come back faster. Applying pads actually add bulk to the toe, making the shoes actually tighter. Real help lies in taking the pressure off the toe. Either wear larger, better fitting, more accommodating shoes or it's a surgical fix.
