my 13 month old son swallowed a bot of bath water and i cant tell if he coughed it up. should i worry about secondary drowing? he is in bed asleep now

Relax: Kids especially have a hyper reactive gag and cough response if any water goes down their windpipe. It is immediate and forceful. If the kid swallowed bathwater, gross as it may be, it went to his stomach. Other than a little diarrhea if he took in a lot of soap, I expect nothing bad will happen.

If no medical condition is found that is causing the symptoms, then the disorder is called "primary". If a condition is found, then the disorder is "secondary".

: Headache and cough are characteristic primary symptoms of a viral upper respiratory tract infection during the acute phase. I'm unclear as to what you mean by secondary cough headache. Do you mean headaches resulting from persistent vigorous coughing? This can occur.
