burned my arm

have a 1" second degree burn on arm blister popped@work now i have itching red rash and swelling 3"around. what should i do about it?

Burn: I strongly suggest that you have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility.
I am confident they will help you control your current problem.
Won't go away overnight but it should not take more than 2 or 3 days - getting better every day.

Burn Care: Blisters should be opened and base cleaned up. Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) creme and. Gauze for dressings usually. The hand is important and worth having a burn doctor follow up on the injury to be sure no complications result that might limit movement.

A topical antibiotic: See a podiatrist or your family physician. Silvadine cream is often used to treat burns . It is soothing and helps prevent infection.

Can be helped: Scars are caused by tension in the skin.  They can be helped, made smaller, less painful, etc. By simply using a bandaid (perforated preferred to allow evaporation of moisture) across the scar under tension. Stick the bandaid down on one side of the scar, then pull across the scar with tension and stick down on the other side of the scar, pulling the skin together at the scar to relax the skin.

i had burned the bottom of my foot camping and it's a second degree burn i have bin to the hospital but i'm trying to sleep and have a leg n foot spaz?

Try pain med: 2nd-degree (partial-thickness) burns are painful; the skin nerves are still present and raw from the open wound. As the wound heals, which 2nd-degree b urns do with good wound care & good nutrition, the pain should lessen & ultimately disappear. When you're hurting, or before you go to bed, take a dose of pain medicine, simple otc ones like Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen or a stronger prescription med.

crps l foot. burning, sensitivity, a lot of swelling, redness. r foot- swelling this morning (no other symptoms).  normal? could crps  be spreading?

Not enough data: This may be something else - bilateral CRPS would not be likely.  At this time this is edema only. It can be due to other  medical problems, medications  etc. You need to see your physician and get evaluated.

Big toe: See your internist and have him check your uric acid levels to rule out gout.

Need a diagnosis: It may not be circulation. It could be  neurologic  or erythromelagia. Please  see your physician and get the approriate evalaution

See below : Any traumatic injury to the lower limb whether blunt trauma or burn can elicit an increase in fluid retention at the levels of the ankle.   Could it be coincidental that your having fluid buildup in your ankles at the same time most definitely.    Your lymphatic system which aids in keeping fluid levels balanced in your legs and ankles can always be affected by a sudden injury.
