Send if it recurs: The consequences of missing a cancer disguised as a chalazion are serious, but you have a window period if it recurs and is then sent for study. This is an okay practice if, and only if, your ophthalmologist was confident enough that it was a classic chalazion to forego histopathology the first time. If a recurrence is sent, you'll be safe. And it's very good you asked.

Very rare: One report said that sebaceous gland carcinoma is less than 5% of all eyelid tumors, don't know age distribution or gender.  Rare things sometimes happen, getting a specimen sent to pathology is the safest way to find out.  It is a good practice.

Uncommon: That is uncommon but certainly possible. See a dermatogist or eye doctor who specializes in eyelid conditions for check and maybe biopsy.

Rare: Sebaceous cell carcinoma of the periocular tissues of the eye primarily arises from the meibomian glands of the eyelid. It has rarely been reported to arise from the caruncular sebaceous glands. Your caruncle may be irritated and inflamed from allergies, dryness, or infection. If painful, discharge, nodular swelling within the adjacent skin of the nose, you may have a nasolacrimal duct obstruction

Very unlikely: Do you have any reason to doubt your doctor's opinion. Carcinoma of the sebaceous glands is very rare.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

what is the risk of a small nevous sebaceous in face sine birth to turn into skin cancer. my dr. said less than 1 % and forget it ? is this true? thx

Watch it: You can have it off if it bothers you or if it&#x27;s your personal preference to have a little scar instead. The risk is low. Little cancers that arise in these things can be excised without danger to you.

Usually not: Because sebaceous cysts are in the skin and breast cancer occurs in the glands under the skin.  Show it to your doctor to be sure.

Not cancer: Test ulnar cancer would have grown and you would be very sick by now. Have it rechecked. Most likely a cyst or blocker hair follicle.

Probably cured: You're young, and folks under 45 who have this stuff in their thyroids and don't have metastatic disease at the time of surgery usually get a cure. There's a new paper http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed/22853727.

how is the prognosis and treatment for early hepatocellular carcinoma?

Depends on therapy: Its really therapy dependent.  Most hcc are related to cirrhosis, usually extensive and multiple and not amenable to therapy.  Only early hcc can be amenable to resection and or liver transplant.  Transplant is curative, as can be resection in the absence of cirrhosis, especially for early (modified ajcc stage 1 or 2) hcc 
most other therapies are largely palliative and offer dismal long term surv.
