This : This is a very difficult question to answer. Scarring of the heart is usually from a previous injury such as a heart attack. As far as prognosis, this is something the cardiologist can answer since he/she knows the extent of the scarring. 
He should continue to live a heart healthy lifestyle and follow the recommendations of his doctor(s).

Yes; depends on size: The cardiac MRIs have inherent limits of resolution, so problems with anatomy below a certain size do not show up on the scans. The EP is a functional study - testing how the heart functions (electrically). While the EP doc gets a good idea of where the irritability is (based on position of the electrodes), it's primarily meant to capture &amp; fix the electrical rhythm, not diagnose a myocardial scar

They may: Depending on what it shows, low mobility or immobile sections of the heart can indicate old injuries to the heart muscle resulting from vascular insufficiency.

Not exactly: An Echo gives a good picture of the size and surface of the heart. The valves are well visualized - scar tissue is not directly seen as much as inferred by abnormal movement in an area that may have had previous scarring from infarction.

6 inches roughly: Begins just below collar bone and ends just above xyphoid process. Roughly6 inches long. Takes 8 weeks to get strong but over a year to completely heal.

No need: Scarring occurs as a healing process. There is no need to do anything unless the scar constricts your heart called constrictive pericarditis. Symptoms are shortness of breath, leg swelling, tiredness etc.

i have history of a asd repair as a child, large amount of scar tissue on my heart . last few month retaining fluids in my legs/ abdomen, notice low bp but increase pulse . what could be wrong?

Echo/CTscan help: Increasing fluid buildup w relative low BP might suggest right sided heart pressures elevated (unlikely due to ASD particularly if successful repair as a child).  Need to rule out calcification and thickening of the pericardium (constrictive pericarditis) which can sometimes occur decades after surgery when there is a " large amount of scar tissue on heart".  A cardiac ct and careful echo doppler.

Heart: No pain fibers in heart, if there's pain something is going on besides the scar alone being present.

Probably: Many artificial heart options have a sound that can be noted by being close to the person.  It also depends on the patients weight.

does myocarditis always left some scars in one's heart? it is possible to live normal, sporty, health and long life with scarred hearth?

Accepted Answer

Not always scars: a cardiac MRI can tell you how much of the heart (if any) has permanent damage/scarring - this can guide prognosis (what we can predict about your future).  if there is not much damage often one can recover to normal activity and longevity.
