Both: Injecting platelet rich plasma is supposed to amplify the response of the repair cells by supplying growth factors to the area of injection. It's a good theory, but evidence of other than short term changes is lacking.

Get an xray: You're still having pain from an injury sustained 2-3mo ago? It's time to see your Family Doc who can order an xray. If negative, s/he may order bone scan then MRI. Or just send you to Sports Med doc or Orthopedic surgeon. In meantime, ask for physical therapy &amp; avoid those activities that aggravate area.

Experimental: At this point, prp is experimental as only case series are published. No real head to trials against other proven therapies.  That said, many athletes and their trainers think it works really well.

i partially tore my tfcc ligament two years ago & i still have pain & numbness on my pinky side of my hand. my occupational therapist thinks i might have trapped nerves or scar tissue from when it was healing. can a nerve conduction test show that?

was hospitalised & had a drip. i had some scar tissue after that & massaged that and it went away but 2 months later i still have a round lump where the drip was. it's mobile, not stuck to anything but it is hard & not going away. what could it be?

Lump: This hardened subcutaneous lump is probably a hematoma caused by leakage of blood at the iv site. The blood clot has now fibrosed and won't dissolve. If it's not tender or inflamed you can leave it alone. A surgeon could remove it with a small incision if you prefer.

Shoulder: Depending on what part of the shoulder blade it is located on it could be some calcification that has developed after the contusion that occurred, probably the best person to see would be a orthopedic surgeon who could further evaluate this concern, they could possibly get x-rays if indicated or obtain an MRI to make sure this is nothing more then post from attic scar tissueor calcification.
